JOHN KEVIN DAY

John Kevin Day entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the age of 61. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. He was a graduate of John Ehret High School Class of 1979 and employed for 25 years as a maintenance millwright with Cargill Inc. Beloved father of Brianna Dorsey. Son of the late Herman Day Sr. and Beulah J. Day. Brother of JoAnn Day, Kim Day Lewis, Elaine Day Williams, James Carl Day, Roosevelt Day, Lionel Day, and the late Heman Day, Jr. Godfather of Deontre’ Jackson, also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Macedonia Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Macedonia Baptist Church 1219 Cohen Ave. St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Albert Mickel officiating.
