JOEANN HARRIS WILLIAMS

Joeann Harris Williams entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at the age of 71. She was a native of Brusly, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Joeann was a graduate of Lincoln High School, and a former employee of Avondale Shipyard. Loving mother of Terry Lee Sanders, Edward Sanders, Theodore Mathews, Secelika Sanders, Schelika Sanders, Rhonda Lewis, and Rickell Williams. Beloved daughter of the late Willie Harris, Sr., and Gladys Smith. Sister of Ernest Williams, Louis Harris, Tommie Harris, Edward Harris, Mary Sparks, Shirley Grant, Glenda Simmions, Cynthia Shepherd, Mariley Brown, and the late Vanessa, Belinda, Willie, Jr., and Anthony Harris, and Percy Williams. Joeann is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expwy.
