JO ANN MURRAY PRICE

Jo Ann Murray Price transitioned peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 75. She was a native of Mobile, LA and resident of New Orleans, LA. Jo Ann was a 1967 graduate of L. B. Landry High School and continued her studies at Delgado Community College in Computer Science. She was formerly employed with Dupont Chemical Plant in Pass Christian, MS, the Coca-Cola Corporation, and served as head of security at Jackson landing Condominiums. She later worked in security at Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, where she retired in 2012. After retiring, Jo Ann returned to New Orleans to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She was also an active and devoted member of the Thursday Night Social Club. Beloved wife of the late Austin Price. Devoted mother of Alfred Minor, Jr., Michael Marshall, Shannon Dell, and the late Omar Price. Proud grandmother of Shanel Minor, Jared T. Minor, Kayla Casimier, Chloe Minor, Layla Honeycutt, Omar Price, Jr., and the late Alfred “Tre” Minor III. Daughter of the late Charles A. Murray and Emma Cile Ford Murray. Granddaughter of the late Ida M. Webb and Eddie Ford. Loving sister Gwendolyn (Ricardo) Stevenson, Francine Murray (Arthur) Stewart, Dr. Ida M. (Reginald) Artis, Alvin Charles Murray, Emile Charles Murray, Aubrey Charles Murray, and the late Audrey A. Murray, Carol J. Condoll, and Charles A. Murray, Jr. Aunt of the late Tina Condoll, Reshaud J. Stevenson, and Dejuante A. Murray. She was the former wife of Alfred Minor, Sr. and Michael Marshall, Sr.; also cherishing her memories are a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, an aunt, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
