JEROME WILSON

Jerome Wilson, a retired mechanic, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the age of 83. He was a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of Marrero, LA. Jerome was a graduate of Central High School in Mobile, LA and a former employee of Sealand Mechanic. Beloved husband of Vivian West Wilson. Devoted father of Philomena West of Fort Washington, MD and the late Chantress Christian Wilson. Son of the late Len Wilson and Floretta Crawford. Loving brother of Len Wilson, Jr. of Mobile, AL, and the late Rosetta Johnson and Eloise Edwards. Jerome is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Bruce R. McClue III, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
