JERMAINE LEE STEVENSON, JR.

Jermaine Lee Stevenson, Jr., age 18, passed away at North Oak Medial Center on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Jermaine was a native of Covington, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. He was a 2025 graduate of George Washington Carver High School, and continued his studies at University of Louisiana Lafayette, where he was majoring in Electrical Engineering. Beloved son of Brittney George and Jermaine Stevenson, Sr. Stepson of Alfred Johnson, III. Devoted brother of Nuri Johnson, Zyair Johnson, and the late Carsyn Beale. Loving grandson of Valarie Green, Ronald George, Deloris Stevenson, Elaine Johnson, and the late John Celestin, Ellis Watts, and Alfred Johnson, Jr. Great grandson of the late Faye Green-Weal, Inez George, Annie Mae Banks, and Bessie Stevenson. Great great grandson of Lionel and Pauline Green. Nephew of Charmaine Watts, Sharonda Watts, Carderion Beal, and Joseph Green. Jermaine is also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Hosanna Fellowship Church of Gretna, Life Center Cathedral Family Life Center, and all neighboring churches; members of George Washington Carver Class of 2025; faculty, staff and students of University of Louisiana Lafayette (ULL) are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Life Center Cathedral Family Center, 2100 Ames Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, December 13, 2024 at 10:30a.m. Bishop J, Douglas Wiley, host pastor; Bishop Alex Bellow, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
