JEFFREY EUGENE ANDREWS

Jeffrey Eugene Andrews entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at the age of 56. He was a native of Jackson, MS and a resident of Harvey, LA. Jeffrey was a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School. Jazzy Jeff and Drew, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was a former employee with Hutco, Inc., Avondale Shipyard, Nash, and Boland Marine as a welder. Beloved father of Janae Andrews, Justin Harold, and Keyona Hogan (Eugene) Edgerson.  Blended father of Desiree J. Harold, and Joshua Harold. Grandfather of Serenity Andrews, India Wills, Paul Wills, Jr., and Keyon Wills. Son of Ethel Jean. Andrews and the late Bennie Eugene Andrews. Grandson of the late Carrie Morris, Flowers Andrews, Sr., Lillie Virgil Gilmore, and Dan Gilmore, Sr. Brother of Adriane D. Gilmore, Angela B. (Walter, Sr.) Haley, Cynthia A (Obadiah) Stephenson, and Benevelyn Andrews Simmons. Uncle of the late Cyndi Amari Andrews. Devoted friend of Devonda Hogan, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
