JASON ANTHONY RUE, SR.

Jason Anthony Rue, Sr. transition peacefully on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at the age of 42. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Jason was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School. He was an employee of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and worked for Laitraim Machinery, LLC for many years. Loving and devoted father of Jason A. Rue, Jr. and Jayhanna Rue. Beloved son of Ceola R. Rue and the late Floyd A. Rue, Jr.  Grandson of the late Willie, Sr. and Roxie H. Richardson, Floyd, Sr. and Phillipine Rue. Brother of Joseph (Catrina) Pierce, Alisia (Terry, Sr.) Phillip, Shelia and Bernnadetta Rue. Uncle of Ashley Mishone and Terry “TJ” Phillips. Nephew of Laura (A. J.) Horton, JoAnn Richardson of San Diego, CA, Betty Sinegar, Leona N. Richardson, John Walker of Oakland, CA, Eddie Richardson, and the late Roxie Lee, Mary Ann Richardson, Delores Rue, Willie Jr., John H., Curtis Sr., and Rocky Richardson, and Jimmy Williams. Cousin of the late Gabriel Rue. Loving companion of Raquel Tyson. Jason is also survived by his favorite cousin Ashanta Sinegar Brown, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Private Funeral Service were held at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
