JAMES EARL REDMOND

James Earl Redmond entered eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at age 61. He was a native of Middlesex, NC and was a resident of Marrero, LA. James was a graduate of Enloe High School, and he attended Coastal Community College. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 10 years. James was a former employee with Carnival Towing Service as a truck driver. Beloved husband of Tonya Davis Redmond. Loving father of Mandela, Joshua Earl, and Stephan Elisha Redmond. Grandfather of MaKeen Mandela and Spencer Olivia. Son of the late Jessie James and Viola Redmond. Brother of William Lee, Jessie Albert, and Randolph Redmond, and the late Alfonso Redmond, and Gracie Redmond. Son-in-law of the late Roger Coleman, Sr. and Frank Davis. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00a.m. Visitation begins at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above name parlor.
