JAE'VON DANTE WALTON

Jae’Von Dante Walton departed this life at University Medical Center on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the age of 27. He was a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Jae’Von was a graduate of Edna Karr High School, and he attended Tuscaloosa Academy, Nebraska University, and Iowa Western Community College. He was owner/trainer of From Good to Great and    employed as a driver with Amazon. He was an active member of Fischer Community Church where he served as an usher. Loving father of ZaHari McGarrell. Beloved son of John Copeland, Kennedra Walton-Miller and Henry Miller. Grandson of John Copeland, Sr., Emma Withlow, Marva Walton, and the late Kenneth Walton. Great grandson of the late Audrey Walton, Eddie and Lucille Rice. Brother of Jae’rez Miller, Christopher Upshaw, Johnathan Abriams, Brayden Copeland, Denzal Ball, Nick Caskill, Joslyn Abriams, Diamond and Vanessa Caskill, Jah Mai Freeman, and Latoya Thomas. Nephew of the late Darlene Walton, Barbara Harris, Sonja Walker, Patricia Johnson, Willie Anna Curtis, JoAnn Miller Lomax, Charles Walton, Benny Goirl, and Kelvin Walker. Cousin of the late Damien Johnson. Jae’Von is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church, River of Life Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B. Landry Avenue New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Nelson Brown, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
