JACQUELINE MARIE HAWKINS FIRVEN

Jacqueline Marie Hawkins Firven entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age 62. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Jackie was a manager in the hotel Industry and known for her love for cooking, selling delicious pecan candy everywhere.  Loving wife of  28 years to Leon Firven, Sr. Devoted mother of Latasha Lewis, Lashonda Lewis, Lisa (late Curtis) Guichard, Tahesha Perkins, Leon (Ashley) Firven, Jr.,  and the late Nekita Lewis, and Ronald Lewis, Jr. Grandmother of Christopher Johnson, Ladwanna Lewis, Timbrel Lewis, Erian Doughty, Terrence Pierce, Ronald Doughty, Keshaun Turner, Johnathan Walton, Sasha Jackson, Curtis Guichard, Jr., Anire Lewis, Allen Murray, Anthony Guichard, Shayla Lewis, Justin Walton, Saniya Lewis, Rondell Doughty, Zerrick Pace, Bandon Edgerson, Tonesha Perkins, Tasheena Perkins, Rayelle Perkins, Kendelle Perkins, and Queen Lomax. Daughter of the late Patrick and Gladys Hawkins, Sr. Sister of Albertine (Harold) Jackson, Mary Alexander, Barbara Hawkins, Janice Hawkins, Irvin (Mac) Hawkins, Adreena Hawkins, Terry Taylor, and the late Laverne Hawkins, Frank Hawkins, Patrick Hawkins, Jr., Bernadette McCalab, and Jerry Hawkins. Sister-in-love of Geraldine (Bryan) Oubre, Bernetta Firven, Isaiah (Pamela) Firven, Michael Firven, and the late Diana (Nathaniel) Singleton, also survived by a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Hermon Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mount Hermon Baptist Church 3512 US Highway 90 Avondale, LA on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Dr. Darold A. Ingram, Jr. officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
