IRVEN JOSEPH WILSON, JR.

Irven Joseph Wilson, Jr., age 73, peacefully entered into eternal rest at his residence on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA. Irven was a 1966 graduate of Lincoln High School, and he attended Grambling State University. In 1973 he received an Associate Degree from Delgado Junior College. He served his country as a member of the United States Army.  Irven retired from ConocoPhillips Alliance Refinery, as a Board Operator Supervisor in the Blending Unit, after 40 year of service. He was a former semi-professional bowler, and a member of the National Bowling League.  Beloved husband of 52 years to Savannah Chopin Wilson. Devoted father of Dana Terese Wilson. Son of the late Irven Joseph Wilson, Sr. and Theodora Carter Wilson. Grandson of the late Theodore and Lillian Carter. Loving brother of Roy M. Wilson (Donna), Eric Gerard Wilson (Sungerette), and LeJune Wilson, London (Curtis); also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
