Herbert Corey Butler departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the age of 44. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Herbert was a graduate of L. B Landry High School and employed as a construction worker with Boh Brothers.  Loving husband of Shonda D. Butler. Devoted father of Coby Collins, Jasmine Sylvester, and Herbert Lego. Beloved son of Carolyn Butler and Micheal Knighten. Grandson of the late Herbert and Louise Butler. Loving brother of the late Tory Butler. Herbert is also survived by 2 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA o Friday, January 28, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
