HENRY WILLIAMS, SR.

Henry Williams, Sr, age 84, transitioned to his heavenly home on Friday, January 27, 2023, at his residence. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Henry retired from Sharp Construction after 45 years as a Construction Superintendent and Chateau Ames Apartment Complex after 10 years of service. Beloved husband of the late Florence Williams. Devoted father of George, Annette, Cheryl (Cedric), Michele, Valencia (Henry), and Shawntia (Michael), Clarence Gaines, Troy Mallard, and the late Henry Williams, Jr.  Son of the late John Allen and Clara Walker. Stepson of the late Herman Walker. Brother of Linda Stewart and the late McHenry Allen. Godfather of Danielle (Chris) O’Connor.  Devoted friend of Amy Harris. Also cherishing his memories are 18 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, Second Highway Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Highway Baptist Church, 1533 Haydel Drive Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Joseph Johnson, host pastor; Pastor Christopher J. Arvie, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
