HENRY OWENS, JR.

Henry Owens, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 20, 2023, at the age of 69. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Henry was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.  He was a former employee with Tenneco Oil Refinery as an operator. During the Christmas Holiday, Henry entertained families in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area as Santa Claus. Father of Christopher Owens. Son of Joycelyn B. Owens and the late Henry Owens, Sr. Brother of Rickey Owens, and the late Mervin Ponson, also survived by 1 grandchild and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
