HELEN PRICE KELLER

Helen Price Keller went to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the age of 88. She was a native of Darrow, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Helen attended Rosenwald High School in Donaldsonville, LA., and was a former employee of John Brown Oldsmobile. She was an active member of New Zion Baptist Church, where she served with several ministries. Beloved wife of the late Rene Keller, Sr. Loving mother of Barbara K. Beard, Rene (Dorothy) Keller, Jr., Brenda K.(Robert, Sr.) Cooks, Gwendolyn Keller, Cheryl Keller, Helen K. (James) Brown, Evelyn K. Goudy, Althea Keller, Myra K. Kennedy, Ron Keller, Sr., Terrace Keller, and the late Linda Keller. Grandmother of the late Keian M. Blunt. Great grandmother of the late Shelvin Keller, Jr. and Troy Williams, Jr. Daughter of the late Willie Price and Bernice Harris Livers. Granddaughter of the late Joseph and Holland Harris. Sister of Lloyd Harris, Ronald Price, Ethel Mae Price, Paula P. McCrae, Mavis P. McCall, and the late Reginald Price. Mother-in-law of the late Edward Beard, Julian Merren, Joseph Blunt, and Harry Goudy, Sr. Helen is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Zion B.C., 1131 Garden Road, Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
