HARRISON YOUNG, JR.

Harrison Young, Jr. departed this life at his residence on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at the age of 62. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Lake Charles, LA. Harrison was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and owner of Diversified Computer Service. He was formerly employed as an EMT with Acadian Ambulance and as a Lab Tech with Cal-Cam Hospital. Harrison was a veteran of the United States Army. Loving father of Harris (Brandy) Robertson of Slidell, LA, ReAiana Leday of Lake Charles, LA, and the late JaAiana Leday. Beloved son of the late Harrison Young, Sr. and Sarah Young. Devoted brother of Thomas Stanford, David Stanford, Dorothy Favorite, Helen Davis, Celestine Cotton, Patricia Price, Vanessa Young of Lake Charles, LA, and the late Betty Flemming and Rosie Bowie. Harrison is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
