GWENDOLYN PAULETTE MILES

Gwendolyn Paulette Miles entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the age of 68.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Gwendolyn was a retired caregiver and groundskeeper for The Pines of Gretna. Loving mother of Christopher Miles and Crystal Miles. Devoted daughter of the late Matthew Miles, Jr. and Mary Williams-Miles. Granddaughter of the late Matthew and Sedonia Matthews, Joseph and Selina Williams. Sister of Gilbert Wagner, Thoyd G Miles, Cynthia Chess, and the late Margaret A. Hall-Neal, Donald Ray Miles, Matthew C. Miles, Kevin B. Miles, Myron K Miles, Roslyn Y. Wallace, also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Joseph Missionary Baptist Church, 236 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Melvin Zeno officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
