GRINDL NAPOLEON

Grindl Napoleon departed this life on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the age of 61. She was a native of Gretna, LA and a resident of New Orlean, LA. Grindl was a graduate of John Ehret High School. She was the owner of Westbank Educator Daycare and Academy. Beloved mother of Cobey Napoleon, Corey Napoleon, Itoyna Napoleon, and the late Terrance Napoleon. Daughter of the late Louis Briggs, and Althea Willis. Granddaughter of the late Hilris Johnson, Sr., and Naomi Johnson. Sister of Neldana (Wayne, Sr.) Richard, Jamal Napoleon, Arnel (Roland) Jones, Monique Napoleon, Isdore Willis, Jr., and the late Charles Napoleon, and Gareth Napoleon. Aunt of the late Ikine Ricard. Niece of Joycelyn Fisher, and Jennifer (Alvin) Noah, also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Hope Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at New Hope Baptist Church, 434 7th St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Warren E. Johnson officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m., at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery - Westwego, LA.
