GLORIOUS WILSON MENINA

Glorious Wilson Menina, age 87, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Wynhoven Community Care Center. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Glorious was a 1957 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She was employed as a Licensed Cosmetologist and as a Home Health Aide with Supra Home Health, from which she retired after many years of service. Glorious was an active and faithful member of Full Life Faith Ministries, until her health began to decline. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Pastor Mervin Menina, Sr. Devoted mother of Mervin Menina, Jr., Alisa M. Guillory, Vernisa M. Hayes, Carrie Menina, and Shanon Menina (Fiancée Malika Wells). Cherished grandmother of Gerren Lemon, LeJeanne Menina, Dacia Menina, Shanon Menina, Jr., DaVonne Menina, Kiera Hayes, Zyriah Guillory, and the late Ashton D. Hayes. Daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Carrie W. Chatman. Stepdaughter of the late Louis Chatman. Sister of the late Catherine W. Martin. Glorious is also survived by her 4-legged grandchild Diva Kandi Hayes, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Wynhoven Community Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice for the kindness and compassion shown to our loved one.
