Gloria Dean “Tutnan” Tillman Williams entered eternal rest at her residence on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 74. She was a native of Hermanville, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA. She graduated as Salutatorian of the Class of 1970 from Addison High School before attending Alcorn State University, where she majored in English and played basketball. She later earned a degree in Accounting from Delta Community College. She was known for her infectious laughter, warm spirit, and unwavering devotion to family. Gloria enjoyed traveling with her family, playing pool, sharing stories, teaching family traditions, and spending Sunday’s cheering on the New Orleans Saints with her grandchildren. Gloria was formerly employed as a dietary technician with Bayside Health Care Center. Beloved wife of Larry Williams. Loving mother of MSG(R) Troy (Alayssa) Tillman of Lake Charles, LA, LaTonya Williams, Carla Williams, Tracey Howell, Schiqueta Wilson, and the late Tiliah and Emma Tillman. Great grandmother of the late Josiah Tillman and Adoni Allison. Daughter of the late P. R. Tillman and Mayola Myles. Stepdaughter of Steve Rodgers. Granddaughter of the late Hugh Hodges and Lillie Myles. Sister of the late Thelma Nicholas, Ida Allen, and Robert Myles. Niece of Almond (Debbie) Myles of Las Vegas, NV. Gloria is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 2515 Franklin Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Jonathan Everett, officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
