Gerard Doris departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, March 31, 2020  at the age 59. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of Annette Savage Doris. Devoted father of Gerard Thomas (Kim) Doris, Jr., Gerard Thomas (Ebony) Doris, 111, and Brian Jones, Sr. Stepfather of Ray Savage, Lance Savage, Ronsheka Edward, Nicole Savage, Brittany Savage, and Kshaun Savage. Son of the late Andrew Joseph Doris and Carolyn Brazile Doris. Brother of Charell Doris (Donald) Ellis, Pastor Parnell M. (Pastor Leisa V.) Doris, Sr., Daryl (Verinese) Doris, and Kevin Doris. Son in law of Evora Savage. Brother in law of Mark Smith, Apostle Angel S. (Pastor Carl) Joseph, Tier Ann (Edward) Murray, Constance (Kevin)  Burns, Elaine (Uncle Boo) Savage, also survived by 11 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,  nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends, and co workers.
