GERALD MAE RUFFIN

Gerald Mae Ruffin entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the age of 68. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Gerald was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School, and she was employed as a supervisor with Belle Chasse State School. Beloved mother of Jamie Lynn Ruffin. Daughter of the late Henry Ruffin, Jr. and Ethel Carter Ruffin. Sister of Sandy Ruffin, Ethel Ruffin Green, Dorothy Ruffin Johnson, Mary Ruffin Hurley, and the late Allen Ruffin, and Willie Carter, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Ernest Weber officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
