Georgia Mae Williams Hill, age 70, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. She was a native and resident for Marrero, LA. Georgia was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a retired Head Cosmetician of Walgreens Drug Store. Georgia was an active member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Marrero. Beloved wife of Claude James Hill, Sr. Loving mother of Claude James Hill, Jr. (Juanita) and Myesha Veruschka Hill. Daughter of the late Daniel and Monola Williams. Sister of Mary Lucille Williams Whitten (Winston Sr.); she was preceded in death by a host of brothers and sisters-in-law. Georgia is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; alumni of Lincoln High School are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. until service time.
