GEORGE THOMAS, JR.

George Thomas, Jr. entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the age of 86. He was a native of St. Charles Parish and resident of New Orleans, LA. George was a retired truck driver. Beloved husband of the late Mary Presely Thomas. Devoted father of George Thomas, III, and the late Ronald Thomas, and Gloria Thomas Pain. Son of the late George Thomas, Sr. and Selina Thompson Thomas. Brother of Willie Thomas, Matthew Thomas, and the late LJ Thomas, TJ Thomas, John Thomas, TS Thomas, Rutha May Thomas, Audre Thomas, Leola Thomas Polly, Adline Thomas Polly, Dolores Thomas Narcisse, and Beulah Thomas Baham, and also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life at Heavenly Star Baptist Church, 1020 Cohen Ave. Marrero, LA on Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Aubrey Wallace officiating.
