GEORGE SAMUEL HINDES

Retired Sergeant Major George Samuel Hindes passed away on Thursday February 27, 2025 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved father of Cynthia Lynn (John K.) Castle, William Evin (Brenda Q.) Hindes, Steven George Hindes and Mark Samuel (Florence) Hindes. Loving brother of Stan Hindes and Lil McConnell; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him very much. George's passing takes away a light that shined brightly in the hearts of all those that were fortunate to have met and really knew the man that he was. HE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED!
