GANNON VERNELL JOHNSON

Gannon Vernell Johnson entered eternal rest on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the age of 53. He was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Gannon was a graduate of L.W. Higgins High School, and he received a welding certificate at New Orleans Vocational Tech. He was the owner of Corvus Janitorial Service and had a contract package deliveries service with Amazon. Loving father of Mariah “Roc-o” Molden, Kristen “Tookie” Molden, Genaye Porch, Jabreel Porch, Jabari Porch, Diamond Lewis, and Gannon Johnson, Jr. Beloved son of the late Alvin Johnson and Lillie Bell Hudson-Johnson. Grandmother of the late Mariah Duckett-Hudson. Brother of Ivan Johnson. Devoted companion of Deedra Duplessis. Gannon is also survived by his grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service at the parlor.
