FREDRICK BOWMAN, JR.

Fredrick “Freddie” Bowman, Jr entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 78. He was a native of Vicksburg, MS and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Devoted husband of Karen Honora Bowman. Beloved father of Sharon Bowman (Keith) Zarders, Tracey Bowman Holbrook, and Dewaun Bowman. Stepfather of Cheenwah Honora, Reggie and Tyler Thomas. Loving grandfather of Trevon Williams, Keara Holbrook, Katelyn Zarders, Cameron Holbrook, Keith Zarders, Jr., Kelvin Riley, Car Riley, and Brielle Whitehurst. Beloved son of the late Fredrick, Sr. and Beatrice Bowman. Brother of the late Adelle Newton, Leola Bailey, Murdus Rice, Bessie Davis, Ruby Harrison, Mary Miles, and Betty Sanders. Bonus brother of the late Remus Bowman, Sr., Robert Bowman, and Joseph Bowman. Devoted uncle of Shalisa Petty. Former husband of Mary Ann Davis and Justean Hillard. Fredrick is survived by 6 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
