FRANCES WILLIS CASBY

Frances Beatrice Willis Casby entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the age of 71. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Frances was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School Class of 1972. She loved singing praises to God, and gospel was her favorite genres of music. Her legacy of love, faith, strength, and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Frances will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, loving heart, unwavering faith, joyful spirit, and unconditional love for her family. Devoted wife of the late James Casby Sr. Beloved mother of Michael Willis, Marlin Willis (Kisa Mosley), Trinelle Willis, Kimberlin Willis (Dexter) Brown, Jamaal Willis, Quinton Willis (Luciana Robertson), James Casby, Jr., and the late Christopher Willis. Grandmother of the late Deaughn Willis. Daughter of the late Arthur Willis, Sr. and Frances Parker Willis. Sister of Martha Willis, Leddie (Craig) Mitchell, and the late Gloria Breaux, Dorothy Wallace, Delores Johnson, and Arthur Willis, Jr. Frances is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
