FLORIAN TUREAUD FRANKLIN, SR.

Florian Tureaud Franklin, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the age of 64. He was a lifelong resident of New Orleans, LA (Algiers community). Florian was a graduate of L.B. Landry High School Class of 1976. Flo, as he was affectionately known, served in the U.S. Marine Corps earning an M-16 Rifle Marksman Badge and Good Conduct Medal. Flo was employed in private security for over 25 years with ACSS and Edifice Protection Group working at Algiers Naval Station and One Shell Square. Beloved husband of Andrella Briscoe Franklin. Loving father of Florian Tureaud Franklin, Jr. (Tiernisha), Iasha Hicks (Darios), Christopher, Mia, Saunders, Brahinie, Deiontre, and Maya Franklin, Makitta, Adrian, Melvin, Jamal, and Tiera Briscoe and the late Norman Briscoe. Grandfather of the late Heaven Nettles. Son of the late Peter, Jr. and Loyce Tureaud Franklin. Grandson of the late Peter Sr. and Neola Salvant Franklin, Benjamin, and Florestine Tureaud Jones. Brother of Marsha Franklin Parr (Clifton) and the late Saunders, Errol, Kevin and Elliot Franklin, and Wallette Franklin Brumfield. Nephew of Joseph Tureaud (Joan). Bestfriend and brother beloved Noel Rivers III (Tess), also survived by 35 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Rev.
