Evia Viel entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the of 75. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Abby as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a business owner. Beloved mother of Donald Viel and Heather M. Bingham. Daughter of the late Martha Jones. Sister of Roland Jones, Maxine Jones Horton, Rolanda Jones Randolph, and the late Veronica Lane, and Katie Anderson, also survived by 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church 1130 N. Rampart St. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Ed Cooper officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above-named church. Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, LA
