EVERLINER J. JOHNSON

Everliner J. Johnson, age 83, peacefully entered into eternal rest at her residence on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was a native of Rayville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Everliner was a graduate of Rayville High School and Delgado Community College. She was a retired seamstress with the Alteration Center. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an usher and participated with the caring ministry. Beloved wife of the late Lee Johnson. Devoted mother of Ninette Smith, Eddie Johnson, and Marvin Johnson. Cherished grandmother of Qiunese Chopin and Torione Taylor. Great grandmother of Dorian Chopin. Daughter of the late Aaron Jefferson and Rachel Barnes Deseara. Loving sister of Silvester Smith, Sr., Lewis Bingham, and the late Lela Washington, Pearlina Johnson, Issac Jefferson, and Eligh Smith. Everliner is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1419 4th Street, Westwego, LA on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Woodrow Hayden, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church.
