Evans Page, Jr., age 78, departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Evans was a retired Foreman and Winch Operator with Longshoreman Local 3000. Beloved husband of 44 years to Lola Durham Page. Devoted father of Marlon (Camaille) Page, Garland Moore Page, Enchantra M. page, and Lois Page. Loving grandfather of Evans A. Page, Ka’Ron Junior, Na’Veah M. Junior, Kenzale Taylor, Dominick Moffett, Paige Moore, and Ayden Moore. Son of the late Evans Page, Sr. and Edna S. Page. Grandson of the late Allen and Rosie Stewart. Brother of Evirda P. Alexander, John Page, and the late Leroy Levon Page and Irene Page. Son-in-law of the late Esse and Lois W. Durham. Brother-in-law of Yolanda Page, Versa L. Durham, and the late Namon Alexander and Lynn E. Durham I. Godfather of Frank Delaney. Best friend of Rev. Ronald Gullage. Evans is also survived by Justin Fenniday, whom he loved as a son, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3 and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson Street Marrero, LA on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Duhon Smith III, officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Will be Private.
