ETHEL MAE JACKSON

Ethel Mae LeMay White Jackson entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 16, 2023, at the age of 91.she was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA. Ethel was a High School graduate and she attended Seattle Central Community College. She was a licensed cosmetologist and seamstress. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Jackson and Columbus Ash by first marriage. Loving mother of Deitrich Vicks. Grandmother of Runiaja Vicks-Brown. Great grandmother of Emani Jackson and Cairo Shelby. Daughter of the late Olivia Tate Gurley. Stepdaughter of the late Nathaniel Gurley. Granddaughter of the late Willie and Hester Tate. Devoted friend of Thelma, Theresa Frank, and Sandra Moore Jackson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
