ERNEST CURTIS

Ernest “Buck” Chapman Curtis departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, July 20, 2026, at the age of 64. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Ernest was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and employed as a life station operator. Loving father of Sandra Coleman and Shawn Clofer. Cherished grandfather of Skylar Clofer. Son of the late Nettie Curtis. Grandson of the late Mamire Wilson Curtis. Beloved brother of Denise Curtis, Nicole Curtis, and Gary Curtis. Nephew of the late Chapman Curtis. Ernest is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Private service were held.
