ELMA L. MARTIN

Elma Martin entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the age of 72. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. She was a graduate of Carver High School and employed as a custodian. Loving mother of Julia Martin, Selena Martin, and the late Trishara Martin. Beloved daughter of the late Melvin and Angeline Phillips. Devoted sister of Melvin Phillips, Michael Phillips, and the late John Phillips. Elma is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
