ELLIS AUGUST BODDEN

Ellis August Bodden entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at the age of 46. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Ellis was a 1994 graduate of McDonogh 35 High School. He was employed as a bartender at Royal Omni Hotel. Loving father of Christian Reed. Son of Ellis Gaines, and Margarita Bodden-Gordon. Brother of Richard Bodden, Lavar Gaines, and LaCantia “Gigi” Bodden. Uncle of Richard Garrett, LaArianna Gaines, India Gaines, Kenya Gaines, and Aniyah Collins. Ellis is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, and employees of Royal Omni Hotel are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 6820 Westbank Expwy., Marrero, LA on Friday, November 11, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
