ELIZABETH JOHNSON PAUL

Elizabeth Johnson Paul passed away peacefully at St. Jude’s Nursing Home on Monday, October 16, 2023, at age 85. She was a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Paul. Daughter of the late Edward Johnson and Rebecca Favorite Bright. Sister of Freddie (Pat) Young of Myrtle Beach, SC, Rebecca Favorite of Los Angeles, CA, and the late Vernita Johnson Gaines, Stephanie Mouton, Lawrence Favorite, Elton Johnson, and Ernest Favorite. Sister-in-law of the late Pearl Favorite and Daisy Berry. Elizabeth is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Sunrise Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration Service at Sunrise Baptist Church 1325 LeBeouf St, Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11:00a.m.  Pastor Cornell Sisler, officiating.
