Easter Mae Buggage entered into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson Highway on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at the age of 70. She was a native of Lutcher, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Easter was employed as a retired cook. Loving mother of Danielle Buggage, Demetrice Taylor, and the late Albert Buggage, IV, and Dionne Buggage. Grandmother of the late Torria Girard. Daughter of the late Gertrude Ponds and Albert Morrell. Sister of Betty Piear, Eva King, Mercedes Smith, Elder Helen S. Anderson, and the late Eules Ponds, Leonard Ponds, Elder Helen P. Anderson, Catherine Clay, and Alma Griffin. Aunt of the late Eldrin Clay and Michael Anderson, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.
