Drazell “Zell” Hermel Denson entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the age of 37. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Drazell was educated in both Jefferson and New Orleans Parish School Systems and completed his training at Job Corps. He built his career working for the Jefferson Parish Sewerage and Water Board as a Laborer, before joining Economical Janitorial and Paper Supply Distributor as a Truck Driver. Drazell cherished his time with Pastor Rickey Johnson, where he attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church, always willing to lend a helping hand wherever needed. Devoted son of Terry Jackson and Drean R. Denson. Loving fiancé of La’Shantia M. Lumar. Grandson of the late Eunice Sr. and Dauphine Raymond, Willie Jackson and Doris Jackson. Devoted brother of Raynell (Jilondra) Jackson, Kevin Jackson, the late Larry Denson Jr., Damien Jackson and Terry Ann Smith. Cherished nephew of Eunice (Willie Mae) Raymond Jr., Gilda Marshall, Ted (Semaj) Raymond, James O'Neal, Willie (Betty) O'Neal and the late Cedrick Raymond. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1701 Estalote Ave. Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00am. Pastor Ricky Johnson, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
