DONTE MICHAEL VALLEE CARTER

Donte Michael Vallee Carter departed this life on Sunday, Jully 12, 2026 at the age of 22. He was a native and resident of Marrero, LA. Donte attended John Ehret High School and played football and basketball at Nicholson Playground. He was employed at Marine Equipment Solutions as a machine operator. Donte loved riding horses, clowning around and cracking jokes. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memories, laughter and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Beloved son of Benjamin Carter, Sr. and Cheyenne Vallee. Bonus son of Ashley Washington and Susana Byrd. Grandson of Trudy Hebert and the late Michael Hebert, Sterling Sr and Ethel Carter. Loving brother of Benjamin Jr., Anthony, Jonthan, and Benston Carter, Kendrick Vallee, Mickey Guidry, Jr., Dorian (Willie), Arielle, and Anisa Carter, and Victoria Vallee-Verrett. Stepbrother of Tia and Tremaine Byrd. Godson of Chantel and Danielle LeLeaux. Michael is also survived by his mentors Gerald Delaune and Kendrick Sam, 27 nieces, and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service at the parlor.
