Donald Gillard was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the age of 62.  He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident Gretna, LA.  Donald was a graduate of L. B. Landry Senior High School and represented the school as the L. B. Landry Band Drum Major. Father of Anishka Gillard. Son of the late Daniel Gillard, Sr. and Lucille Gillard.  Brother of Beverly Gillard, Leon Gillard, Daniel (Pamela) Gillard Jr., and the late Curtis Gillard, Sr., and Alice Gillard Brown. Uncle of the late Craig Verrett and Leon Gillard Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time.
