DON DARRELL LEWIS

Don Darrell Lewis departed this life at University Medical Center on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 52. He was a native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Don was employed for 20 years as a cook in the Hospitality Industry. Beloved husband of Churell Lewis. Loving father of Hannah, Aviannah, Aviance, Chavell, Ja’hine and Je’Mere. Devoted son of Ethel Lewis. Brother of Nathan, Mike, Linda, and Annette Lewis; also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Holy Trinity Family Worship Center, 6215 Franklin Avenue New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. until service time at the church.
