DERRICK SMITH

Derrick Smith passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 60. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Son of the late David and Bernette Carter. Loving brother of Thaggand Smith, Lodoia Smith, Eartha Smith Grant, Tanina Smith Marshall, Charles Smith, Bernadine Carter-Herron, and the late Myrtis Fatina Smith, David Carter, Jr., and Timothy Joseph Smith. Brother-in-law of Anthony Herron, Cynthia Jemison, and the late Myra Smith. Derrick is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
