DEON VASHAWN HYMES

Deon VaShawn Hymes entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the age of 33. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Deon was educated in the Jefferson Parish Public School System and was a floor assistant with Floor and Decor. Loving son of Alicia Hymes. Devoted grandson of Lawrence, Jr.  and Elizabeth Winchester. Brother of Dreall Hymes. Uncle of Janisha Hymes. Great uncle of Kennedi Hymes. Bestfriend of Tamberlynn, Timberlynn, and Chrisdeon, also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
