Delores Robertson Hill, age 90, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at University Medical Center. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Delores was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School and a retired private sitter. She was a parishioner of St. Raymond & St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society and Golden Hearts. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Hill, Sr. Loving mother of Pamela Hill (Anthony) Edward, Diane Hill, Lester Hill, and the late Thomas Hill, Jr., Naomi Hill James, and Tyrone Hill. Grandmother of the late Yashica Dexter and Anthony Perry. Great grandmother of the late Dwayne Williams. Daughter of the late Samuel Robertson and Laura Perkins Robertson. Granddaughter of the late Butler Robertson and Virginia Sep. Devoted sister of Albert Robertson, Jean (John) Young, and the late Sam Robertson, Lawrence Robertson, Sr., Irving Hosley, Myrtle Wilson, Dorothy Sylve, Janie Hosley, Bernice Meadows, and Shirley Jennings. Sister-in law of Shaleta Robertson, Gloria Robertson, and the late Alma Hosley, Reginald Wilson, John Sylve, Raymond Meadows, and Albert Jennings. Also cherishing her memories are 14 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest parishioners of St. Raymond & St. Leo the Great Catholic Church are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raymond & St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2916 Paris Avenue New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the church.
