Debra Ann Augustus departed this life peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the age of 71, embraced in the love of her family. She was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.Debra life was a beautiful tapestry, woven with threads of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Her spirit continues to inspire and uplift those she left behind. Devoted mother of Aquanetta Carter, Kevin (Stacy) Augustus, Jr., Stephanie Augustus (Bruce) Wright and the late D’lan Cohens. Grandmother of Jasmine Cohens, Darrien Cohens, A’Maya Hill, Anthony Carter, II, Bennie Sorells, III, Anastacia Sorells, Madison Carter, Blake Wright, Kacy Augsutus and Khloe Augustus. Great Grandmother of Kayleb Cohens, Ja’Von Reed, Theodore Cohens, Hazel Cohens and Sophia Cohens. Daughter of the late Wortha B. Marine. Sister of Lisa Marine Bush, Mark Marine and the late Harold Lush, and Lorraine Lush, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
