David Lee, Jr. entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at the age of 80. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  David was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, and he served his country in the United States Army. He was employed as percussion instructor at the University of New Orleans, and Rutgers University. Beloved husband of the late Iszetta Lee. Devoted father of Michael D. Lee, Blair J. Lee, Sr., Ayana Lee (her mother Jenny Walker) and the late David Lee, III. Grandfather of Nina Lee Alberts, Megan I. Lee, and Blair Lee, Jr. Great Grandfather of Blair Lee, III. Son of the late David Lee, Sr., and Lucille Lee. Brother of Joseph Lee, and the late Robert and Adam Lee, Verna West, and Jessie Bell Anthony, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
