DAVID LEE CURLEY, SR.

David Lee Curley, Sr., age 38, departed this life on Saturday, April 9, 2022. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. David attend L. B. Landry Senior High School. He was an avid New Saints fan, who often wore black and gold when his home team was playing. David’s favorite pastime was playing video games, cooking, and traveling with his family. Life companion of Tojohnica Newman. Loving father of Janaya, Devion, De’Garray, Estavon, DeAnna, David, Jr., Kayden, Demetrius, Nila, DeMonnie, DeAndre, Denim, and Diamond. Beloved son of Cheryl Curley. Grandson of the late Mary Louise Curley-Kaywood and Freddie McGrew, Sr. Devoted brother of Dominique Curley, and Karl Curley. Uncle of Brandi, Serenity, Emory, and Brandon. Nephew of Cynthia (Gregory), Gwendolyn, Joyce, Freddie, Gerald, and the late Sylvester Kaywood, Jr., Brenda G. Curley, Lee Andrew Curley, and Kenneth Curley. David is also survived by his father figure Johnnie Jackson, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Isaiah Stewart, officiating.
