Darlene Tate-Bourrage departed this life on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the age of 62. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Darlene is known and recognized for her innovative approach to design, whether fashion or interior styling, and entrepreneurship. These self-taught attributes are a few of many. Beloved wife of Clifton Bourrage. Loving mother of Cynthia Tate (Cleveland) Burns, Theresh Tate, and Kalvin (Linda) Tate. Daughter of the late Ira “Ivory” Tate, and Yvonne Ruffin-Tate. Sister of Iris (Alvin) May, Patricia (JC) Rice, Iona (Robert) Smith, Deborah (Rudolph) Jones, Ira (Sonja) Tate, and the late Cynthia Marie Tate. Darlene is also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expwy.
