Cynthia Ann Stuart, a homemaker, departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 71. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Cynthia was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School. She was a former employee of Monteleone Hotel New Orleans. Beloved wife of the late Albert Houston Stuart. Devoted mother of Dawn Latrice Stuart (Troy Darensburg) and the late Tyrone Desmond Stuart. Cherished grandmother of Dawnisha Stuart, Kendell Stuart, Charron Simmons, Runada Stuart, and Rujia Stuart. Daughter of the late Cleveland James and Cleola Rice James.  Granddaughter of the late Eddie and Lula Rice. Loving sister of Leonard Cleveland James and Carolyn Marie Mollison. Cynthia is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE STREET GRETNA, LA on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
